Express Entry

Express Entry is a system used by the Canadian government to manage applications for permanent residency from skilled workers. It is not a visa itself, but rather an online application system through which individuals can submit their profiles and be considered for immigration to Canada.

To participate in the Express Entry program, individuals create an online profile outlining their qualifications, work experience, education, language proficiency, and other factors that contribute to their eligibility for immigration. Profiles are then assigned a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on various factors, including age, education, work experience, language skills, and adaptability.

The Canadian government conducts regular draws from the Express Entry pool and invites candidates with the highest CRS scores to apply for permanent residency. If an applicant receives an invitation to apply, they can then submit a comprehensive application for permanent residency. If approved, they will receive their permanent resident visa, also known as a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR).

It's important to note that Express Entry is a highly competitive system, and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee an invitation to apply. It is recommended to seek guidance from immigration professionals or consult the official Canadian government website for the most up-to-date information and requirements related to the Express Entry program.
